| A village with outstanding taste |
| Although Saint Hippolyte is a small village, many of the city’s conveniences can be found here. The village is home to an upscale grocery store where residents can browse through an array of quality wines and cheeses. If you do not feel like cooking, several restaurants in the area offer casual and upscale dining. As a special treat, in the nearby town of Sainte Marguerite, Le Bistro a Champlain (http://www.bistroachamplain.com/) proudly boasts one of the best wine cellars in North America. In addition, there are many boutiques and interesting shops that sell everything from clothing to books. If spending money is not on your agenda, then you can spend a quiet afternoon in the Saint Hippolyte library. This local library is a good place to relax, meet your neighbors and/or sign up for one of the classes being offered. |
